September 2, The Day We Met
Stephanie made this one too. She does special orders and custom doggy clothing. borntobark@msn.com
Stephanie calls this a 'June Cleaver' dress for every day wear. She will crack you up too. borntobark@msn.com
Lola was a big hit among the Trick-or-Treaters when she met everyone at the door in her Bumblebee costume.
This is Lola, planning to stow-away in daddy's suitcase.
Lola's Birthday in California
Lola rolls and rubs her whole body on us when she wants attention. This is her sweetest expression.
We found these flannel jammies on eBay. They shrunk to fit perfectly. Notice the ruffled butt. Very Lola!
Call of The Wild...Barbiedog style!
Carmen Miranda look out! We need a fruit headdress for this one.
The first ever picture of the Empress without her clothes. Taken March 7th, 2003.
Lola was almost six months old when we got her and she weighed 1.8 lbs. Next to my step-son's size 10's, she sure looked teensy. She's 3 lbs. now and full-grown.
On Christmas morning, we always open our presents in our jammies. Lola got this fleece one-piece from Santa. Of course the bearded one knew very well who the Barbiedog was. This was one of the first garments made for Lola by our friend Rita Burger at www.dinkydawg.com
I picked out these red prints with the rust-colored lace. Stephanie thought that it was weird at first but it works. Lola wore this one on Thanksgiving. You too can have a Born To Bark Original for your K-9 sweetie. borntobark@msn.com
Another designer original by our friend Stephanie at borntobark@msn.com. Lola wore this dress during Christmas and she was so cute in it that fewer people thought I was nuts.
This is Lola's favorite dress so far and that may be because we helped to design it. Stephanie borntobark@msn.com attends to every detail and that's what makes her dresses so fabulous.
We found this stunning knitted dress on Ebay and Nicky from www.purrsandwags.com has made Lola a few different ones since. Lola is very comfortable in them.
Our dear friend Audra lives in Florida and sent a surprise package to Lola. The sweater and glasses offered a comical photo opportunity. Lola didn't even pretend to like it.
March 26th and Lola is ONE whole year old. Five new dresses from Stephanie arrived on that special day. Stephanie has two very beautiful Yorkie girls named Hayleigh and Kaitlyn. You can find them at borntobark@msn.com.
We spent Lola's birthday in California. As I recall, we spent most of the day trying on new dresses and taking pictures. Lola loves to model but when she's had enough, she makes a mad face and hold her ears down.
Annie, my young step daughter, was determined to give Lola some of her doll's clothes. This Madeline outfit was the only thing that Lola could 'almost' get into.
We love these harness dresses from www.dinkydawg.com. Lola goes everywhere with me in her doggy purse and there's a harness clip inside but she never tries to jump out...well almost never. She goes crazy when she sees and hears Loretta, her breeder www.ozyorkshireterriers.com.
Santa came to Petsmart and Lola just begged to have her picture with him. It was a poor quality Polaroid but they gave it to us in a lovely cheap plastic frame to hang on the tree.
